Once upon a time, there lived two friends named Ram and Krish. They were the best of friends.
One day, when they were at school, Ram sat next to Krish. In the fifth period, their Math teacher gave them a surprise test.
Ram was not prepared for it. So, Ram was terrified.
When the test started, Ram copied the answers from Krish. He knew it was a bad thing, but he had to do it.
When the test ended, Ram was sad. When Krish saw him, he asked, “Ram, why are you sad?”
Once upon a time, there was a girl named Pinky. She lived with her grandma. Her mother and father had died in an accident.
One day, her grandma said that she was ill. She needed some blue flowers from the nearby forest.
Pinky went to the forest to collect the flowers. It was evening time, and Pinky was scared. But she had to do what her grandma had asked her to do.
Once she was deep inside the forest, she heard some sounds from the bushes. She was afraid.
As she came near the bushes, she saw a little white tail. It was a cute, little rabbit! It was soooooooooooooooooooo cute that Pinky picked it up in her arms. It jumped and ran away, and Pinky followed it.
Once upon a time, there were two friends named Pat and Bob.
It was Halloween time.
One day, Pat and Bob went to a nearby park.
They saw a man who appeared strange.
The man was coming near and near to them.
He was a headless man!
Pat and Bob were so scared that they ran away to their houses and never came back.
Once upon a time, there was a young boy named Binku.
He had a beautiful bicycle.
Binku had a friend named Tinku, who sometimes behaved like a bad boy. He was also jealous of Binku’s bicycle.
Binku advised Tinku that we should not be bad. But he never listened.
One day, Binku found that his bicycle was broken. He suspected that Tinku had broken the bicycle, because he had taken it a day before without asking for permission from Binku.
Today’s story is based on a true incident when I was in Class 1.
One day, my Hindi teacher asked us to write a test.
There were ten questions in the test paper.
I knew the answers to all of them, except one question whose answer I was not sure about.
So I copied the answer from my friend.
But then I realized that what I had done was not right. I had cheated!
I immediately erased that answer and gave the sheet to my teacher.
I remembered then a lesson my Mummy and Papa often tell me about. It is that inside each one of us lives an angel and a devil. When we listen to the devil, we do bad things. Like I had cheated in that test.
But when we listen to the angel, we do good things. Like I erased the answer that I had copied from my friend.
I was happy that day because I remembered what my Mummy and Papa had told me about.
Moral of the story – We should never cheat. We must always listen to the angel who lives inside us and not the devil.
