Charvi’s Lesson

August 17, 2019 | 1 Comment

Once upon a time, there lived a girl named Charvi. She lived with her grandmother, who was a very kind woman.

Charvi had a very good friend named Chatty.

One day, it was Chatty’s coloring competition and he did not have any colours. He went to Charvi’s house to ask if she could lend him her colours.

But she told him that she would not give her colours because he may break them. Chatty told her that he will take proper care of the colours, but Charvi still said no.

Chatty was upset and went home sad. He thought that he would not be able to participate in the colouring competition because he did not have any colours.

Charvi’s grandmother had watched what happened between Charvi and Chatty.

She reminded Charvi that sharing is caring. But Charvi told her that she did not like sharing.

Her grandmother said, “If you were in Chatty’s place, would you have liked this?”

“No!” said Charvi.

She had realized her mistake. Then she ran to Chatty’s house. When he opened the door, Charvi said, “I am sorry Chatty! Here, take these colours.”

Chatty thanked Charvi for sharing her colours with him.

Then Charvi went back to her house, hugged her grandmother, and thanked her for the lesson on sharing she had taught her.
